Works really well with texture packs! SEUS v11 A newer but much performance requiring shader for Minecraft. You need a high-end PC to run this shader.
It runs pretty well on 1440p resolution when I'm not recording. Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.17 (High) Really colorful shader pack for Minecraft. Some people might find it too colorful, so it's definitely not for everyone. The performance is great though, might work well on low-end PC. It's quite similar to SEUS v11, but they are not identical. I have never really used this much. Chocapic13 V6 (Ultra) Another colorful shader with above average performance. Might work on low-end computers. The water, sky, colors and everything else looks absolutely stunningly beautiful. Robobo1221's v7.1 (Ultra) A really nice looking shader with surprisingly bad performance. I expected to get at least 90 FPS with it, but for my surprise I was stuck around 50 FPS.
Chocapic13 v7 (Low) The most performance friendly shader on this list, will work on low-end PC. It lacks many features though, the water looks really dull compared to other shaders and the shadows are not aggressive at all. Will probably look a lot better if you choose a higher version than Low. Conquest of The Sun This shader is supposed to be used with the Conquest texture pack.
I did not use it, since this is a shader comparison and I will keep them all standalone without any extra mods or texture packs. Sushi Shader v2 I had never heard of this shader before, I included it just for fun.
It has a really deep blue saturation, I don't really like it that much. ♫ Music by C418.
Shaders Mod for Minecraft adds shaders to the game to add a touch of realism, which appears to complete the game graphically and goes very well with high resolution texture packs. Shaders add the shadows and reflections to the game that wouldn't otherwise be a part of Minecraft. If the sun or moon are at a certain angle, so will the shadows of all the objects in the game., purposefully designed to have an 8-bit-like blocky look to the game that you would normally see in retro video games, does not come with shaders as a part of the game because of the retro focused nature of the game.
However, a lot of players choose to add mods to the game to upgrade the game's graphical appearance of certain objects and aspects of the game, and the Shaders Mod for Minecraft completes the touch of realism that you would want in the game if you are one of those people. This mod goes great with additions to the game such as realism texture packs. Adding a touch of realism to an otherwise blocky game feels to bring Minecraft alive with realism and pull you further into the realm of the game and perhaps even make you feel a part of it. The Shaders Mod for Minecraft specifically adds multiple draw buffers, a shadow map, normal map, and specular map. All of these things can be used to change the appears of the Minecraft world and otherwise increase the realism of the game. There are muliple shader packs to choose from for this mod to complete your experience and are specific to your preferences.
